The "Armadillo Lizard Equipment" mounted on the Gundam Sandrock EW is original equipment that appeared in the manga "Glory of the Losers." It is a redesign based on the previously introduced "Armadillo Equipment," retaining the large additional armor that covers the shoulders, chest, and waist. The large shields originally suspended on both shoulders have been redesigned into two smaller shields with the same shape as the original shields. Additionally, a total of 96-tube missile pods can be mounted on both small shields, significantly enhancing long-range suppression firepower.
 
The "MG 1/100 Gundam Sandrock EW (Armadillo Lizard Equipment)" is a modification of the previously released Armadillo Equipment kit. It reuses the Gundam Sandrock EW main body and various large additional armor parts, featuring excellent color separation, part division, and articulation. It includes the cool main weapons "Heat Shotel" and "Beam Machine Gun," which can be suspended on both sides of the back, along with original machine marking water-slide decals designed by Katoki Hajime.
 
The waist-side shields, connecting suspension arms on both sides of the shoulder armor, small shields, and missile pods are made with new parts. To emphasize the flexibility of the small shields, the new suspension arm parts feature multi-axis articulation and a locking mechanism design, allowing them to rotate in multiple directions and be fixed at specific angles. The small shields can mount the massive missile pods via detachable adapter parts. The missile pods feature individual hatch deployment mechanisms, with internal missile warheads presented in red molded parts, allowing for dynamic scenes of a full salvo.
